A free utility for MSDOS that looks for text chains within files.
Find is a small utility to be run in MSDOS that lets you scan files to look for text chains within them. You can specify it to look both in directories and in all subdirectories.
Once the scan has finished, Find shows you all the files it has found the text chain in. You can configure certain options, like only looking for certain file types, not distinguishing between upper and lower case, that it saves the results in a TXT file, etc.
Find is totally free and needs no installing.
